Field trip to the Science Center

Today we had a fun filled day to the Science Center. We explored the exhibit about the solar system and even watched an Imax movie on Jupiter. The children had a really fun time. I think their favorite part was the movie because they felt like they were in space. I really enjoyed the looks on their faces and how they were learning soo much from being there.

Love of Teaching

Our class has been very busy these last few weeks. On the first day of class, the class found that the surprise was a hamster named Polly. All the children love her. The topics we have been covering are in science we have been learning about the solar system, in math we are learning to divide large numbers, in social studies we have learned about the Civil War and finally in language arts we talked about the write poems.

The night before your first day of class

I'm so excited that tomorrow is our first day together. I have a lot of activities in store. As well as a little surprise. You are going to have to wait to know the surprise until you come to school. One hint though is that it is small with a lot of energy. Leave your comments to guess what the surprise is or just wait till tomorrow. I cannot wait to see your bright smiling faces tomorrow.
